You can check your flash player version on Adobe’s website here:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

If it says no, then the debugger won’t work.

A short hint: Flash Debugger doesn’t work in Google Chrome. I searched a long time for the setting mentioned above until I started Firefox.

I have a strange problem – I moved my wordpress install from one host to another, and now in the new install the post thumbnails SOMETIMES get displayed… and sometimes not. Any idea what I could do about it? It seems so random.

I believe I found the root cause for this.

The version 10 of flash player debugger seems to have issues with IPv6.

See, on recent releases of Windows, by default the localhost resolves to “::1″, which is the IPv6 version of localhost.
If you deactivate IPv6 on your network interface, the localhost resolves “127.0.0.1″, and the debugger works like a charm.

Anyway, ADOBE really should have fixed it long time ago.

Costed me almost 1 day of work to figure it out.

When I run the application in debug mode and I right click on the movie I do not see any option on debugging in the context menu that appears. Any solution??

I’m sorry for my stupid question:

but I don’t really get how to “change option from localhost to “other machine”, because when I right clicking on swf, I see only “settings” in witch there are only settings about sound, quality, camera and s.n… please, can you explain how to change it.

I have done everything that I found in google, still no luck. I also tried what you suggested but no luck.

Post image and thumbnail is not working at all. If I log in to FTP, I can see the original image and a thumbnail (150×150) image in there. (Mostly created when I upload the image)

allow_url_include and allow_url_fopen are both OFF. You can see this on my website http://brijux.com

Any suggestions?

You know what? I totally agree with you. A similar story is happening over here.
I sold an eBook, on how to generate some pocket money by writing articles, and these people who bought it, obviously after trying something blackhat, got baned.
In my case, its the fault of the buyer and not paypal actually, as he cannot comprehend I was selling the METHOD and not a guarantee. It hasn’t been escalated yet, but I don’t expect to win this dispute, and I’ll post results here after its ‘solved’.
