Ever since I installed Office 2007, my PC has gone from responsive to … un-responsive. It can now take literally 15 minutes between turning on my PC and reading my first email, with 13 minutes of that spent watch Outlook churn away.
I’ve previously been a user of Thunderbird but the huge quantity of spam I get meant that I was forced to choose an email client based on the availability of a decent spam program. The very best I’ve ever come across is Cloudmark Desktop but this has, until recently, only been available for Outlook.
Thank all that’s holy: Cloudmark is now available for Thunderbird and the truly HORRIBLE Outlook 2007 has been consigned to the past. Suddenly, I can see my emails in moments instead of minutes.
