I heartedly recommend Laura Marling‘s debut album “Alas I cannot swim”. The single “Ghosts” has a hint of Paul Simon about it and I also detect bits that remind me of Sheryl Crow, Dido and Tanita Tikaram. Hard to believe she’s only 18, this is a nicely produced, intimate album with a fair degree of variety.
